Fareed Zakaria, on his CNN program GPS, has chosen SuperFreakonomics as his book of the week. The Louisville Courier-Journal calls the book “fascinating … lyrical enough to keep you entertained for hours.” SuperFreakonomics is nearing its third month on The N.Y. Times best-seller list and remains the nation’s best-selling business book, as ranked by both the Wall Street Journal and The New York Times. Freakonomics, meanwhile, has been named one of best books of the 00’s by The Onion’s A.V. Club the Times (U.K.), and the Telegraph. New York magazine has just released its list of the most astonishing counterintuitive ideas of the 2000’s; between them, SuperFreakonomics and Freakonomics notch seven different entries.
